Senior SEO Strategist plays a pivotal role in client success by owning the organic strategy and execution across a portfolio of dealership accounts. This senior-level position is both strategic and client-facing, responsible for presenting SEO results, explaining performance, and guiding future initiatives. The Senior SEO Strategist is expected to act as a trusted advisor—educating clients on how their websites perform organically, painting a clear picture of opportunities and challenges, and ensuring strategies stay ahead of evolving search engine algorithms and AI-driven changes.Position Responsibilities:
• Lead SEO strategy for a portfolio of clients, ensuring campaigns drive measurable performance and align with client goals. • Serve as the primary SEO contact during monthly and quarterly reviews, delivering clear, client-ready reporting and insights. • Present past, current, and future SEO strategies in a way that is educational, compelling, and actionable for clients. • Monitor Google algorithm updates, AI-driven search changes (AI Overviews, zero-click search, etc.), and industry trends—proactively adjusting strategy to stay ahead. • Collaborate with internal teams (Account Service, SEO, Copy, Art, Code, & TechOps) to ensure best practices and client deliverables are met. • Conduct technical SEO audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities. • Use platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and other SEO tools to measure performance and provide actionable insights. • Translate complex SEO and AI concepts into simple, client-friendly explanations to build trust and long-term relationships. • Develop, present, and manage 90-Day Reviews for each client to evaluate progress, share results, and set next steps. • Mentor and support SEO team members, providing guidance on strategy, reporting, and client communications.Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or client-facing role. • Strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, link building, and local SEO. • Up-to-date knowledge of Google algorithms, AI search technologies, and SEO trends. • Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Looker Studio (or similar reporting platforms). • Exceptional client communication skills, with the ability to confidently present strategies, educate clients, and build strong relationships. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously. • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, solve problems creatively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Work from Here
