We invite you to join the Magnet®-designated nursing team on MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s C5-2 Pediatrics Unit. This all-private room, 14-bed, mixed General Pediatrics/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit offers an enriching environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of pediatric patients. As a General Pediatrics Clinical Nurse on C5-2, you’ll have the chance to provide specialized care for a diverse group of patients, including general pediatrics, pediatric neurology, and pediatric oncology patients. Our team is uniquely supported by the expertise of PICU nurses, allowing for a seamless transition of care across different levels of acuity and opportunities for cross-training to critical care. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. - ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- At least one year of hospital-based, pediatric RN Experience required.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
