Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Architect Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform services, solution architecture, and cloud-native design patterns, while also collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to support enterprise applications, data platforms, and infrastructure.

• Provide cloud strategy and roadmap development to guide business and technology stakeholders.

• Lead cloud migration initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and performance best practices.

• Evaluate existing cloud architecture and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, Security, and Application Development teams for seamless implementation.

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform/Deployment Manager.

• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Google Cloud Platform services, advising on best practices and new capabilities.

• Mentor and guide engineering teams on cloud-native designs and implementation.

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in cloud architecture (Google Cloud Platform preferred).

• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, etc.).

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE).

• Background in CI/CD pipeline design and cloud DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with data platforms, analytics, and cloud-native application development.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Certification: Google Professional Cloud Architect (preferred).

• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud architecture.

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform cost optimization and FinOps practices.

• Knowledge of AI/ML and Google Cloud Platform AI services.
