Purpose A Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is a role that combines both client relationship management and the critical task of predicting future logistics needs and demands. This position is 100% onsite in North Lauderdale, FL. Work at home is not available for this position. Your Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their logistical needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Forecasting: Developing and managing forecasts for orders, units, and inventory levels at various points in the supply chain to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Analyzing supply chain processes and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Acting as a liaison between clients and the logistics company, as well as collaborating with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, finance, operations).
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively addressing and resolving delivery or supply chain issues.
  • Data Analysis: Utilizing data and analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and inform forecasting and decision-making.
  • Sales & Business Development: Identifying opportunities to secure new clients or expand services for existing ones.
  • Strategic Planning: Contributing to strategic planning by providing insights on demand forecasts and supply chain performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a field such as logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related area is typically required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or account management, including supervisory roles, is often preferred.
  • Analytical and Forecasting Skills: The ability to analyze complex data, forecast demand, and utilize forecasting techniques is crucial.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are vital for interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: The ability to identify issues, analyze situations, and develop effective solutions is essential.
  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software, data analysis tools, and relevant technology is important.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively is key.
  • Supply Chain Acumen: A thorough understanding of supply chain processes and operations is necessary.
