SUMMARY & SCOPE

The recruiting manager provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to recruiters and support staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across several states. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.  
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department. 
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.   
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.  

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Fills senior-level positions in e-business and IT fields, as well as positions in operations and management. 
  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates. 
  • Manages the recruiting team for the assigned region. 
  • Works closely with recruiting managers in other regions to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on national-level initiatives. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.  
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. 
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.  
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of administrative experience preferred 
  • Proven ability to build, manage, develop and motivate high performing teams 
  • Track record of partnering with companies and managers to develop, implement, and manage process strategies 
  • Experience developing and executing process implementation 
  • Capacity to strategize and interface with all levels of an organization including C-level executives. 
  • Proven career progression and trajectory 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Has experience working remotely
