Senior SRE Engineer

Responsibilities:Build the Devops/SRE functions for the company's product which include activities around -
- Monitoring of the products and services for availability, security, reliability, and scale
- Document and codify best practices around operational behavior of services
- Build the infrastructure that supports Incident triaging, troubleshooting, remediations, and post mortems
- Build, manage CI/CD infra for dev, staging, production environments
- Monitor and maintain security best practices within code development
- Track and perform tasks towards maintenance of annual SOC2 compliance controls
- Create and communicate on-call schedules and processes to the broader engineering teams
- Document and communicate design decisions with the broader team to support a remote, asynchronous work culture
- Function independently while being able to make technical choices in the presence of unknowns
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering leaders
- Take active interest in understanding customer problems while building features in an iterative manner
- Adapt SRE practices and processes quickly to scale with a fast growing startup and product
- 3+ years experience of being in an active hands-on SRE role in a fast paced engineering org building SaaS/cloud-native products and services
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Golang, and Python
- Knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their automation toolchains
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a remote team
- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or similar equivalent industry experience is preferred

- This position will require you to be available during core PST business hours (9am-5pm) and to adjust schedules occasionally based on customer and business needs including business travel, client meeting/call schedules, and team off-sites.
