The candidate will lead innovative account management strategies while focusing on growing profitability and deepening client relationships within the defined portfolio.What You'll Do:Responsible for growing client revenue through a combination of exceptional relationship management and consultative skills.Drive growth and develop innovative customer focused solutions.Increasing profitability by proactively identifying delivering solutions that continue to add value and expand GBT's web of influence.Lead sales efforts to deliver multiple revenue streams and further penetrate accounts with a focus on driving transactions, premium revenue and supplier revenueDeveloping an in-depth understanding of key business drivers, organizational culture and the competitive position of their assigned clients.Research the marketplace and competitive products and services to highlight the value that distinguishes GBT products, leverages MI, benchmarking and technology as critical value drivers.Create pricing strategies while contributing to the ongoing client P & L management.Leading client business planning and client business reviews sessions with alignment of client needs and insights to our offering.Enhancing the GBT's value proposition thorough policy consultation, researching white paper needs, and technology road mapping?What We're Looking For:3- 5 years' of account management/customer success, ideally in the travel industry. Industry experience is not a hard requirement.Should possess the ability to recognize client needs and develop creative solutionsPossess a strong understanding of the external market and in-depth knowledge of the power of the GBT value proposition.Ability to identify and understand client needs, motivations and "hot" buttons in order to develop focused solutions.Shown success in consultative selling is required, in addition to demonstrating success in growing client profitability.High motivation for success and performance required.Confirmed innovative problem-solving and strong decision making skills required.Ability to maintain active workload by excellent prioritization and planning skills.Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions.Demonstrate ability to quickly learn, understand and articulate key product and value services in a variety of contexts.LocationUnited StatesThe US national base salary range for this position is from$60,200.00 - $111,800.00The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.
