About the Role: BPO Customer Care Voice Associate

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled BPO Customer Care Voice Associate to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a Customer Care Voice Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support through various channels, including phone, email, and written communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance coverage, claims, and other healthcare-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluate and resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Provide accurate and helpful information to customers through thorough knowledge of our client's products, policies, and procedures.
  • Capture and document customer feedback to improve our services and overall customer experience.
  • Interact with other teams, including Claims Services, Provider Services, and Medical Management, to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Handle calls regarding claim status, appeal status, eligibility, and benefits, as well as referral and authorizations.
  • Maintain high-quality performance standards, as measured by the monitoring of recorded calls, productivity, accuracy, attendance, and punctuality.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service within a medical office or hospital setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications, including keyboard navigation and software tool proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) to exchange information with our clients.
  • High-speed, reliable internet connection (40 MBPS min.) with a hardwired connection due to HIPAA requirements.
  • A quiet, interruption-free workspace, which will be assessed during the interview process.
  • Schedule availability: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST (shift timings may be adjusted according to client requirements).

  • Previous experience working from home or in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry terminology and concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
