Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Front-End Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Workwarp, a part of the Walgreens Boots Alliance family. This remote role is open to residents of Michigan, offering the flexibility to work from home while being part of a dynamic team that's changing the face of healthcare. As a Front-End Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for a range of critical tasks that ensure our patients receive the best possible care and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter new prescriptions for patients into our data processing system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Process exceptions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with physician offices and patients to clarify information, resolve issues, or provide updates.
• Assist in back-end efforts such as picking, packing, and manifesting as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team.
• Provide pharmacist call back and/or patient quality assurance support, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Load insurance plan and coordination of benefits information into our system for new patients and referrals.
• Participate in the review and audit of test claims for new patients and referrals.
• Handle the processing of reorders and manage email distribution as required.
• Perform image indexing and AE report filing, maintaining accurate and organized records.
• Offer primary support and expertise for specialized programs such as ETT or Pharma, leveraging your knowledge and skills.
• Take on other registered and/or licensed responsibilities as needed, demonstrating your capability and commitment to excellence.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED.
• An active pharmacy technician license or certification as required by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
• At least 1 year of work experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM, or call center settings.
• A proven track record of providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
• Basic knowledge of and skills using MS Windows, MS Office Suite, and/or similar operating/software programs.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and qualities will give you a competitive edge:

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate diplomatically and confidentially.
• A strong ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision.
