Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Responding to user inquiries and providing assistance via phone, email, or in-person
• Troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware, software, and Microsoft Office application issues
• Assisting users with proper use of Microsoft operating systems and Office products
• Installing, configuring, and upgrading software applications
• Collaborating with senior team members to maintain IT infrastructure and troubleshoot issues
• Maintaining documentation on troubleshooting steps and system configurations
• Supporting routine system maintenance, including software updates and patches
• Communicating technical solutions effectively to end-users

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance or already possess a DoD Secret Clearance
• Must meet IAT Level II certification requirements (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or similar) or be able to obtain certification within a 90-day period
