The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Wayfair, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining a global platform that provides a seamless transactional experience for customers and suppliers while managing exchange risk and the total cost of payment. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to develop and implement a long-term innovation strategy for Wayfair's Fintech and Devotion environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead in the critical space, planning and building a stage that interfaces with a wide range of frameworks inside and outside Wayfair and partner globally
• Assume a vital part in creating and driving a long-term innovation system for Wayfair's Fintech and Devotion environment
• Designer and survey code to carry out excellent, adaptable, future-evidence benefits that will have powerful framework limits and will uphold long-haul vision and methodology
• Lead specialized banter across a whole stage and help reach solid recorded resolutions
• Drive high-influence engineering arrangements and involved improvement, including initiation, plan, execution, and conveyance following great plan and coding rehearses
• Fanatically center around creation availability for the group including testing, checking, arrangement, documentation, and proactive investigating
• Distinguish dangers and holes in specialized approaches and propose answers to meet the division's specialized vision

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Essential Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in engineering, with a preference for candidates with a blend of start-up and large company experience
• Strong technical skills in designing and building large-scale, cloud-based systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience driving teams forward and influencing results

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payments engineering, particularly with larger-scale reconciliations (credit cards, financing, BNPL, applications)
• Experience with e-commerce or client-facing technology on a high-traffic site
• Active experience driving software changes within high-growth environments at scale
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure) at scale
• Experience with distributed systems and data-driven advancements in the cloud
