Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, including greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supporting the pharmacy team in the practice of pharmacy, including assisting the pharmacist with dispensing medication, processing prescriptions, and maintaining patient records.
  • Operating pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug data, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, cabinets, and inventory.
  • Processing customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, and handling customer inquiries and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supporting the pharmacy team with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Providing customer support in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative services.
  • Assuming online pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and providing orders to customers.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe store environment, including exterior and interior maintenance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Customer Experience

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, including:

  • Greeting customers and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Providing customer support and education on products and services.
  • Supporting the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Operations

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy team with operational tasks, including:

  • Processing customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including patient records and inventory.
  • Supporting the pharmacy team with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, cabinets, and inventory.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Ability to earn and maintain PTCB certification through the unique PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Previous experience in a retail or pharmacy environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy systems and operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
