Key Responsibilities

As a customer service representative for Carnival Cruise Line, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our guests and travel agent partners via phone
  • Responding to queries and resolving any concerns or issues related to Carnival Cruise Line's cruises, destinations, ship amenities, and other pre-cruise-related travel inquiries
  • Building lasting relationships with our customers and partners, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Working collaboratively with our team to resolve complex issues and provide innovative solutions
  • Staying up-to-date with Carnival Cruise Line's products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to our customers

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in using computer software and technology, including CRM systems and phone systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., hospitality, business, communications) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in the travel or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of Carnival Cruise Line's products and services
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
