The Impact You'll Make as a Key Account Supervisor

As a Key Account Supervisor at 3M, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our key accounts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing annual business plans to achieve sales goals and drive core growth, new product distribution, and promotional programs
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across Merchandising, Replenishment, Marketing, and Operations
  • Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts and market insights to management
  • Supporting cross-functional internal teams on key initiatives for assigned accounts
  • Participating in cross-functional product development to aid in defining future growth opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Preparing and delivering account presentations utilizing Sales and Marketing data, as well as syndicated data
  • Managing budgets within guidelines

Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) combined years of customer-facing experience in Sales/Account Management, Marketing, and/or Analytics
  • Experience working with major consumer product retailers
  • Advanced analytical skills, including category management and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with retail programs and promotions
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Salesforce.com
