The Role

You\'ll be working part-time shifts, providing essential support and guidance to young people at our Foyer in Medway. Your expertise will help them navigate challenges and prepare for independent living. Here’s a look at the shift patterns available:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide staff cover for a supported housing project, assisting young people with practical solutions to residential issues.
  • Patrol the buildings and grounds, reporting any incidents as appropriate.
  • Complete handovers to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and prepare empty rooms for re-letting.

Weekend Shift Cover:

  • Saturdays: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm (one hour unpaid break)
  • Sundays: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm (one hour unpaid break)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people with complex support needs.
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits.
  • Understanding of lone working principles.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check, with satisfactory references and medical fitness confirmation.
