Job Summary

Scalesforth is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Freelance Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's data records. Your precision and efficiency in entering data will contribute to the smooth operation of our various projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Enter and update data into our systems, databases, and spreadsheets with precision and attention to detail.
  • Data Verification: Verify and review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Quality Checks: Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve data-related issues, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Data Security and Confidentiality: Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain data security and confidentiality.
  • Data Organization and Analysis: Assist in organizing and categorizing data for easy retrieval and analysis, and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance data entry efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry are a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in data entry or a similar role preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy, strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, solid understanding of data entry principles and best practices, familiarity with data management tools and software, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, self-discipline and the ability to work independently in a remote setting, problem-solving aptitude to address data-related challenges, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Equipment and Workspace: Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Certifications: Certifications in data entry, data management, or a related field are a plus.
  • Experience with Data Management Tools: Experience with data management tools and software, such as CRM systems, database management systems, or data analytics tools.
