Preferred qualifications: • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field. • Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python). • Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety. • Experience working closely with policy teams. • Experience with machine learning. • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels. About the job Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. You will work globally and cross-functionally with other YouTube teams to navigate testing online brand safety escalations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities • Lead a team of individuals, set and communicate individual and team priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching. • Design and implement integrations between business objectives and business systems, including designing and building strategies that support these business systems. • Conduct strategic analysis, optimize business performance, and deliver within relevant product areas. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing solutions that improve business performance. • Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, important organizational implications, and changing circumstances. • Use Google's big data to conduct data-oriented analysis, architect metrics, synthesize information, solve problems, and influence business decision-making by presenting insights and market trends.
