Job Summary

We are seeking a Per Diem / PRN Radiology Technician to join our team at Open MRI & Imaging of Asheville, located at 675 Biltmore Avenue, Suite A, Asheville, NC 28803. As a Per Diem / PRN Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating radiological equipment to produce X-Rays of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate radiological equipment to produce high-quality X-Rays of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes
  • Complete scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care
  • Assist in MRI and IVs as needed
  • Utilize technical skills to optimize image quality and patient safety
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in radiologic procedures

Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Certification

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Must complete required continuing education units (CEUs) in a timely manner to ensure certification remains active
  • Active state licensure, where applicable

Experience and Skills

  • 0-2+ years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
  • Working knowledge of radiologic procedures and standards
  • Skill in operation of radiology equipment
  • Working knowledge of computers, software applications, technology, and peripheral office equipment
  • Customer service background and focus
