Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Coach to join our team on a part-time contract basis. As a Relationship Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering our Relationship Coaching program, which offers personalized support to help individuals with IDD develop the skills and confidence they need to form and maintain healthy relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with IDD and be part of a supportive and inclusive community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions to help participants develop essential social skills and navigate relationship issues.
• Guide participants on topics such as asking someone out, dealing with rejection, improving communication, and resolving conflicts.
• Customize sessions based on participant needs and assessments to ensure personalized support and guidance.
• Facilitate engaging activities and discussions to enhance learning and promote social skills development.
• Help participants understand and navigate their emotions and boundaries to promote healthy relationships and personal growth.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and provide availability for three months at a time to ensure continuity of support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, sociology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certified Relationship Coach (CRC) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicaid service guidelines and reporting requirements.
• Experience in relationship coaching or a related field, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with IDD.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Availability for part-time contract work and travel.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with prior experience in cohort-based learning with small groups, as well as the ability to ensure personalized attention and effective interaction. Experience in developing and delivering customized curriculum based on assessments is also highly desirable.

• Competitive hourly rate: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.
