Senior Software Engineer (Biometric Solutions)
Veriff is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Biometric Solutions team. The role involves maintaining and improving their real-time Verification Platform, focusing on security, scalability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate will design and develop new systems to support Veriff's vision of building trust online through a reliable and user-friendly Identity Verification Platform.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience building large-scale applications with Python
- A strong understanding of modular design approaches and SOLID principles, particularly in distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with building scalable and maintainable APIs and message-queuing concepts
- Proficiency in various test strategies, ensuring robust and reliable software solutions.
- Solid understanding of fundamental relational database concepts
- Familiarity with structured logging systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and motivate technical ideas to both engineers and non-engineers
