iSchool is looking for a dedicated Moderation Specialist to join our Sales team and help maintain a safe and engaging online learning environment for our students. As a Moderation Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring our online platforms to ensure that all interactions adhere to community guidelines and promote a positive experience for our users. Your role will be crucial in fostering a safe virtual space where students can explore and learn about coding, AI, and technology without disruptions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor community interactions across various platforms, including forums, social media, and online classrooms.
  • Address and escalate any inappropriate content or behavior in a timely manner.
  • Promote positive engagement by encouraging constructive conversations among users.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on community feedback and moderation actions.
  • Collaborate with the content and support teams to develop strategies for fostering an inclusive community.
  • Stay informed of trends and issues affecting our student community.

Requirements

  • Experience in moderation or community management, preferably in an educational or tech-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of online community dynamics and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain impartial and fair while resolving conflicts and addressing user concerns.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with moderation tools and social media platforms.
  • A passion for education, technology, and creating a positive online experience for students.
