About the Role

We're seeking a talented and driven Sales Specialist - Skin Health to join our team on a remote basis. As a subject matter expert in our Skin Health solutions, you'll focus on growing sales in independent Non-Acute accounts, cultivating long-standing relationships with customers, and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Medline's Skin Health solutions, staying up-to-date on industry changes, market dynamics, products, clinical sciences, and sales processes.
  • Collaborate with territory sales reps, Market Sales Directors (MSD), and Clinical Services to improve clinical outcomes and build customer loyalty through process improvement for targeted accounts.
  • Conduct research, collect data, and perform cost analyses to increase the customer value proposition and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead skin health conversations in customer meetings, providing expert insights and guidance on our skin health programs.
  • Conduct business reviews with accounts to identify opportunities for increasing profitability, improving Medline product penetration, and offering cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coach and train sales reps on Skin Health capabilities and solutions, providing feedback on sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Develop business plans to achieve targeted annual gross margin and sales growth in the region, focusing on formulary, gaps in new categories, and Name Brand conversions.
  • Proactively target key accounts in the region, cultivating relationships with external stakeholders and organizations.
  • Analyze published numbers with VPs and Skin Health Management, developing plans to execute on key corporate initiatives based on analysis or performance.
  • Arrange business reviews for key targeted accounts in collaboration with Market Sales Directors, establishing goals for the next quarter to achieve annual quota and profitability.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to customers.
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time, with a minimum of 2 overnights per week in a multi-state territory.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous wound care or related sales experience.
  • Experience selling in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, and/or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with wound care or skin care products.
