Job Overview

We're currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Long Term Acute Care to work on a travel assignment in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a long-term acute care setting, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
• Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey or eligible for licensure.
• 2+ years of experience in long-term acute care, with a strong understanding of patient care needs and clinical best practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• National and state certification in long-term acute care, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a travel or per-diem capacity, with flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology.
