Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages that meet business needs
• Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, develop complex reports, and perform complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients
• Design and develop applications for internal clients, ensuring data integrity and suitability
• Evaluate data needs of assigned projects, determine data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods
• Turn data into actionable insights through reporting solutions, presenting findings and recommendations to internal clients and stakeholders
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical skills, analytical abilities, and a passion for learning and growth. The following qualifications are required:

• 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas:
  • Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.)
  • Excel
  • Visual Basic for Applications
  • Reporting platform – SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
  • Development Programming Languages / Knowledge / Experience – ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
  • Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Transact SQL
  • Database Knowledge / Experience – MS SQL Server
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:

• Experience with reporting platform – WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
• Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying information structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
• Database Knowledge / Experience – Hadoop, Oracle
• Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience – Oracle PLSQL
• Crystal Reporting experience
