Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Virtual Customer Care Representative, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch service to American Express card members via phone, chat, and email channels. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to a wide range of inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handling account inquiries, billing questions, and assistance with card benefits and rewards, while educating card members on American Express products and services.
  • Listening actively to card members' needs and concerns, offering empathetic support and personalized solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Utilizing resources and systems to accurately document customer interactions and follow up on unresolved issues.
  • Meeting and exceeding performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or remote environment.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to navigate complex inquiries effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
