About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our customer service team, processing consumer loan applications, managing payment arrangements, and addressing customer inquiries. Your expertise and professionalism will be instrumental in facilitating loan approvals, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients, and upholding the integrity of our financial services. This fully remote position will start after a one-week training period conducted from 8 AM to 5 PM, and you'll be working on a fixed overnight schedule from 11 PM to 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients through both outbound and inbound calls, providing solutions and support to customers.
  • Analyze and appraise loan applications using various software tools to initiate the loan process.
  • Ensure precise documentation of all account interactions, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, providing timely resolutions to their inquiries.
  • Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and tact during customer interactions, handling difficult situations with courtesy and calm.
  • Handle card payments and process financial transactions with accuracy, adhering to blithequark's financial services standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest in lending practices and financial services, ensuring you're up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Create and update customer records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Meet and exceed monthly performance goals as established by management, striving for excellence in your role.

Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Essential Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet applications.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage difficult situations with courtesy and calm.
  • Effective multitasking skills, capable of managing conversations while entering data.

  • Previous experience in financial services or customer support, with a proven track record of success.
