We are now seeking an experienced and passionate 6th Grade Montessori Teacher to join our team and help shape the minds of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging and challenging lesson plans that are tailored to the needs of 6th-grade students
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and social growth
  • Use the Montessori method to foster independence, self-motivation, and a love of learning in students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in Montessori education
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid teaching certification with a Montessori endorsement
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in education or a related field
  • Experience teaching 6th grade or other middle school grades
  • A strong understanding of the Montessori method and its application in the classroom
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with remote or online teaching
  • Knowledge of curriculum design and development
  • Experience with project-based learning and STEM education
  • A master's degree in education or a related field
