Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate High School Science Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As a High School Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a range of science courses, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science. You will work closely with our students to develop their scientific knowledge and skills, and to inspire them to become curious and passionate learners. Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a range of science courses, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science

Essential Qualifications

  • A valid Ohio teaching certificate in science education
  • A bachelor's degree in science education or a related field
  • Highly qualified in science education, with a strong background in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a passion for working with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master's degree in science education or a related field
  • Experience teaching in an urban school district, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working in a diverse and dynamic educational environment

  • Strong technology skills, with the ability to effectively integrate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning and engagement
