Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, ensuring seamless communication with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy
- Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
- Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
- Communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
- Demonstrating exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
- One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
- One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
- Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
