Foster to Adopt (FTA) Coordinator (Remote Volunteer Position) Dallas Pets Alive! is a highly respected animal rescue organization and provides the perfect place to utilize your skills to grow personally and professionally. To learn more about Dallas Pets Alive! visit https://dallaspetsalive.org As the Foster to Adopt (FTA) Coordinator, you will be making a huge impact on this mission by connecting the adopter with the foster and medical team to ensure they are comfortable with taking over care of a foster animal. Team: Foster Team Location: Remote/Virtual: Virtual from anywhere, understanding we are in the CST time zone. Time Commitment: 5-10 Hours a week Compensation: This is a Volunteer Position with no monetary compensation. After one year of service, we issue a professional letter of recommendation from our Director of Volunteer Management and Human Resources, as well as a LinkedIn recommendation(s) as applicable. Reports to: Assistant Foster Director, Foster Director, VP of Animal Operations and the Executive Director. Works with: Will have regular and continuous contact virtually or over the phone with team leaders, foster parents, and other volunteers. Position Responsibilities:

• Reaching out to the potential adopter and explaining the remaining medical needs
• Sending the foster agreement to the potential adopter
• Making sure the foster agreement is signed and loaded to our records system
• Keep the medical team, adoption counselor, and foster team privy of information
• Checking in on foster to adopt pets during the process

Skills and Qualifications best suited for this position:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficiency with Gmail and G-Suite applications
• Fluency in English; bilingual a plus!
• Ability to operate a computer or mobile device
