About the Role: Remote Customer Service Representative

We're seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our customer service team, you will provide telephone assistance to members and providers, addressing a range of inquiries and delivering exceptional service experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound calls from members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs.
  • Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable to ensure reliable and efficient communication.
  • Receiving comprehensive training and equipment provided by blithequark to excel in your role.
  • Adhering to a production schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, and participating in training sessions during the initial six weeks.
  • Demonstrating self-sufficiency and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with occasional commutes to the office in Charleston, WV when necessary.

Essential Qualifications

  • Residing within 50 miles of Linthicum, MD.
  • Possessing excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively interact with members and providers.
  • Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work independently in a remote setting and prove self-sufficiency.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working remotely in a call center setting.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs.
