Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced full stack data scientist to join our Advanced Innovation group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced analytics and business insights that drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with our business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop data-driven solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Provides numerical modeling and analysis services to support business decision making, including financial, operational, and strategic planning

• Develops and implements advanced analytics and machine learning models to drive business growth and innovation
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves complex business issues using large data sets and advanced analytics techniques
• Develops and maintains data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
• Stays up-to-date with the latest advances in data science and analytics, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
• Communicates complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Essential Qualifications

* Postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science

• Strong background in data science and analytics, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
• Experience with programming languages, such as R, Python, or Julia
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex business issues
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with software engineering and formal high-level software engineering coursework

• 2+ years of professional experience in a data science or analytics role
• 1+ year of experience in the airline industry or a related field
• Experience with Julia programming language
• Knowledge of blithequark/industry data sources
• Organized programming for large-scale computer models
• Shown ability to create business value
