What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for engaging directly with customers who contact us for a variety of topics, from helping them shop for their new pet to resolving issues and finding solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with customers on the phone, using active listening, empathy, and kindness to resolve their concerns
  • Researching and problem-solving to determine the best solutions for customers
  • Operating with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs
  • Collaborating with teammates and other departments using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams
  • Maintaining confidentiality and securing sensitive information

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) in a written assessment
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using computers, data entry, and rapid navigation through systems and the internet
  • Ability to adapt to change and flexibility to shift schedule and work overtime as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless customer experience, you'll need:

  • A reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10Mbps+ upload speed)
  • A work area that's large enough to accommodate computer monitors and free from distractions
  • A webcam and headset for virtual interactions
  • A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify
