Job Overview

The Senior Inventory Accounting Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day activities, including supporting the company's ongoing financial transformation, assisting in the close process, and partnering with internal teams and external business partners to resolve discrepancies and solve problems. This role requires foundational skills in inventory accounting and financial reporting, as well as the ability to maintain, file, and distribute required documentation for internal and external purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration (5%): Leverage prior experiences to develop and recommend solutions, effectively developing trust and collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Operational Duties (75%): Execute required tasks related to the delivery of the tower, work coordinately with other teams, support work with internal or external customers, interpret data, provide advice and analysis, and resolve issues and problems related to the job function.
  • Project Management & Team Support (15%): Work with project teams and business partners to complete project goals, help prioritize assignments, and ensure quality and accuracy of work.
  • Skill Building & Professional Development (5%): Seek further knowledge on key developments and trends within finance, participate in the continuous improvement of financial shared services processes and tools.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as other accounting software programs
  • Thorough understanding of accounting and/or finance principles and practices, generally accepted accounting principles, and generally accepted auditing standards
  • Ability to work independently and complete work on schedule within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with data analytics/data visualization
  • Experience with application and implementation of different systems, applications, and innovative technologies like SAP S4 Hana, Google BigQuery, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence
  • Ability to prepare and present clear, concise administrative and financial reports
