Experienced Assembling Specialist – Server Farm Manufacturing and Operations

As an Assembling Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, from design to delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product Management, and Operations, to identify and address potential manufacturing bottlenecks and optimize our processes for cost, quality, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

As an Assembling Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, creating, and managing the execution of flexible manufacturing processes and systems for specific data center products
• Collaborating with Design, Product Management, and Operations teams to identify and address potential manufacturing bottlenecks in early development stages
• Analyzing and interpreting complex production data to drive informed manufacturing strategies
• Identifying and implementing solutions to improve execution and efficiency across the supply chain
• Leading the assessment, capability, and key development of contract manufacturers with a focus on future capabilities and growth
• Using Product Information Management (PIM) frameworks to create Bills of Materials (BOM), Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and manage Design Change Notices/Requests (ECN/O)
• Leading the Item Lifecycle Management (ILM) team to align design and BOM structures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, or managing high-volume and high-complexity parts
• Experience with LEAN... Assembling/5S/8D practices
• Experience in charging data centers
• Ability to impact the product electrical design and assembly process
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with PIM frameworks and ILM tools

Preferred Qualifications

* A Graduate degree in Science or a related field

• Experience directing yield improvements and process duration decreases for high-volume and high-complexity parts
• Experience with data center design and manufacturing
• Knowledge of server farm high-voltage applications
• Experience with PLM tools and systems

Compensation and Benefits

The US base compensation range for this full-time position is $35-45 per hour. Our compensation is determined by job, level, and location. The range shown on each job posting reflects the base and maximum objective compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by work location and other factors, including position-related skills, experience, and applicable education or training. Your selection representative can share more about the particular compensation range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
