Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Pack Trial and error and Examination group. This team is responsible for supporting the Disney Pack, including Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+, in a single platform. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with cross-functional groups, including Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Data Operations, to provide high-quality, actionable insights that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business leaders to identify key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions to address these challenges
* Develop and maintain a continuous experiences pipeline, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to a steady stream of Pack intel
* Perform in-depth pattern analyses, assessing the contributions of drivers from various perspectives
* Define and investigate audience segments to drive Pack growth
* Work with other Examination groups to gather and integrate Pack data from multiple sources, presenting a cohesive and compelling story
* Develop and maintain expertise in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data practices
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and statistical modeling
* Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, or other statistical analysis software, as well as SQL and data visualization tools
* Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and data preparation for modeling
* Experience working with large datasets, including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into actionable recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the streaming media industry or other membership-based services
* Experience working with Advertising teams or in the Marketing space
* Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies, including MVT and Stomach muscle testing
* Certification in data science, statistics, or a related field
