About the Role: Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst at Sun Country Airlines, you'll play a critical role in driving business decisions through financial analysis, modeling, and insights. You'll collaborate with key leaders across the organization, including Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams, to drive revenue growth and optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models, including long-range forecast models, cash flow models, and project finance models
• Conduct analytics and reporting to provide business and functional teams with data-driven insights
• Support Business Unit Finance with analytical guidance for operations evaluation and decision-making
• Analyze data, trends, and statistics to inform decision-making and forecasting
• Prepare financial evaluations of current operations to identify areas for improvement
• Develop cost/benefit analyses on proposed projects and investments
• Create ad-hoc operational and financial analyses and special projects as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in finance, economics, or a related analytical field. We're looking for professionals with:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analytics or a related finance role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work with large and complex data sets
• Comfort with change and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
