Wayfair, one of the world's largest online destinations for the home, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join its Talent & Communications Co-op program. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR, Communications, and Talent Development, working alongside a diverse team of professionals who are passionate about driving business success through innovative talent strategies.
About the Program
The Talent & Communications Co-op program is a six-month, full-time, paid experience that runs from July 8, 2024, to December 20, 2024. As a Co-op, you will be embedded within one of Wayfair's distinct teams, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Relations, Corporate Communications, Culture & Inclusion, or Compensation. You will have the opportunity to drive projects, work with cross-functional stakeholders, and develop solutions to complex problems, all while gaining valuable insights into the inner workings of a global e-commerce leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders on challenges related to the hiring, development, and engagement of Wayfair's workforce
- Use creative skills to innovate and improve approaches to recruiting, learning, and performance management that drive business results
- Leverage data and good judgment to inform decisions around hiring, learning offerings, and people policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with key partners and stakeholders, including business leaders, new hires, and hiring managers
- Exercise strong organizational and prioritization skills to deliver results and solutions to human capital challenges
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following basic qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, Psychology, HR, or a related field with a strong academic record
- Available to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from July 8 to December 20, 2024
