JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Remote Clinal Operations, the Remote MRI/CT technologist:
- Performs routine to complex magnetic resonance and computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed provider from a remote command center location.
- Ensures services are performed in a safe environment, with assistance from in-center qualified personnel, in accordance with local, state, and federal law, established guidelines, imaging protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as part of the remote command team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
Requirements: EXPERIENCE: 3 years' experience as a MRI Technologist, CT experience a plus. EDUCATION: Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Must also hold advanced registration in MRI through the ARRT. CT registry a plus. Additionally, must be willing to apply for state licensure in the state(s) in which remote scanning is performed and in which state licensure is required. SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
- Skill in operation of MRI as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
