What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Customer Support Engineer at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Technical Support: You'll be the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. You'll provide expert support via phone, email, or on-site visits, ensuring our customers receive the help they need to resolve their issues.
  • Installation, Commissioning, and Maintenance: You'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, and performing preventive maintenance on various systems, ensuring they're running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: When issues arise, you'll use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring our customers can continue to operate with minimal disruption.
  • Documentation and Data Accuracy: You'll maintain accurate records of all field activities in our CRM, ERP, or company applications, ensuring data accuracy and facilitating seamless communication between teams.
  • Collaboration with the Engineering Team: You'll work closely with our engineering team to resolve unique cases, provide product feedback, and contribute to the development of new products and services.

What is Required (Qualifications)

To be successful as a Customer Support Engineer at blithequark, you'll need:

  • US Citizenship: While not mandatory, US citizenship is highly desired for this role.
  • Bachelor's Degree: You'll need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical Experience: You'll require at least 5 years of previous experience in technical customer support and at least 3 years of relevant technical work experience in field service.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing: Familiarity with electronics manufacturing, robotics, PCB assembly, or at least 3 years of related experience will be highly valued.
