About the Role
As a Director, Data Analytics, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data analytics strategy that drives business growth and informs key decision-making. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven solutions, and measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of retail and e-commerce, and your contributions will have a lasting impact on the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our business initiatives
- Design and implement data pipelines and dashboards to distribute insights and track progress towards our objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
- Analyze complex data sets to extract insights and inform business decisions
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors to ensure the success of our initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform our data analytics strategy
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science)
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on retail and e-commerce
- Proven expertise in SQL, Python, and large data tools (e.g., Hive)
- Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and workflow management tools (e.g., Wind current)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience growing new metrics to track business impact
- Experience leading a team of analysts
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques
