The Role

As a Customer Banking Specialist in our Castletown Branch, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice and guidance on a range of banking products and services, including Home Loans, Business Banking, and Financial Advice. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth conversations with customers to understand their overall banking needs and provide tailored solutions
• Supporting customers with enquiries, account maintenance, and credit product applications
• Completing Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs and identify areas for improvement
• Educating customers on our in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Problem-solving and providing effective solutions while championing our risk-adverse culture

What We're Looking For

• Experience in delivering exceptional customer service, ideally in financial services, retail, or hospitality
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial terms in a clear and concise manner
• The ability to ask questions, find solutions, act with integrity, and place the customer at the centre of everything you do
• Ability to work in a busy and commercially driven retail environment

Roster Requirements

Please note that our rosters are predetermined, and you'll be required to work the following hours:

• 20 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 12 pm - 4 pm

Essential Qualifications

* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as banking, finance, or business

• Relevant industry experience, preferably in financial services, retail, or hospitality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in financial planning, wealth management, or mortgage broking

• Knowledge of financial products and services, including credit cards, loans, and investments
• Certification in financial planning or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
