As a Part Time Customer Care Associate, you'll play a vital role in supporting the sale and marketing of our supplier brands, providing top-notch service to our customers, and helping to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

As a Part Time Customer Care Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately and efficiently in SAP
  • Resolving customer inquiries through the use of multiple customer support tools, including conducting research in SAP and/or contacting business units as appropriate
  • Maintaining world-class standards by successfully performing against department scorecards and metrics
  • Establishing and maintaining world-class customer relations by developing a rapport and actively listening to gain more information where necessary
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations
  • Conducting safe and responsible interactions with the public

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs
  • No previous experience required, but a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, diplomacy, and discretion is essential
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
  • Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role
  • Experience in the consumer products or distribution industry

As a Part Time Customer Care Associate, you'll be accountable for meeting your own targets, and your work will be reviewed periodically. You'll also need to be able to:

  • Define problems encountered, which will be routine and repetitive with a solution readily available
  • Work independently and/or within a team
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
