Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to lead the development of long-term plans in alignment with business and IT strategy. The successful candidate will provide industry-leading thought leadership and work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $20-$30 per hour, and we offer comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of long-term plans in alignment with business and IT strategy
  • Provide industry-leading thought leadership and work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence
  • Develop and maintain architectural patterns and standards
  • Lead enterprise architecture models and documentation
  • Establish communities of practice in technical topics
  • Mentor and tutor other IT staff in technical topics
  • Provide a project-wide view inside the United IT division
  • Lead design procedures and forecasting for large projects, and provide guidance to technical staff across various projects

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of programming development experience with front-end and .NET technologies in enterprise systems with high availability and performance requirements
  • Strong proficiency in React, Javascript, .NET Core, CI/CD, and SQL
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with core AWS Services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudTrail, CloudFront, Lambda, EKS, ECS, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Understanding of serverless technologies, services, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree
  • Experience in a retail environment
