We are now seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our Access & Patient Support team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.

About the Role

As an Operations Supervisor at Blithequark, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our operations and business support staff within the Access & Patient Support department. You will play a critical role in delivering our exclusive model that integrates direct drug distribution, non-commercial pharmacy services, patient access support, and financial programs. Your expertise will ensure that our team operates efficiently, and our customers receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of operations and business support staff, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Administer and execute policies and procedures, ensuring employees operate within guidelines.
  • Make decisions that have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers, and interact with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels.
  • Apply advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently, and modify processes to resolve situations.
  • Supervise Access Patient Support staff performing customer services and enrollment activities, as well as reimbursement staff performing benefit investigations.
  • Oversee staffing schedules to meet client contract and company policy requirements.
  • Directly supervise employees, provide training, plan, assign, and direct work, and address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Set priorities for the team, coordinate work activities with other supervisors, and apply expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems.
  • Make decisions, coach and support subordinates, and provide direction in discussing and creating development plans.
  • Provide input into succession planning, align individual goals with work area/functional goals, and build confidence and respect of others.
  • Assist the work team in achieving goals and commitments, and work within budgetary and financial objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for long-term change, build customer relationships, and leverage customer knowledge to develop alternative solutions.
  • Resolve day-to-day problems, work with the team to provide suggestions for solutions, and ensure a focus on operational excellence.
  • Actively build relationships across functions and businesses, mentor and empower others, and effectively listen to and explain difficult issues.
