As a Remote Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission by providing individualized support to students who require additional assistance.

Job Summary

We are seeking multiple experienced and compassionate Remote Intervention Specialists to join our team for the 24/25 school year. As a Remote Intervention Specialist, you will work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualized plans for students who require additional support. You will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement individualized plans for students who require additional support

• Collaborate with teachers to identify student needs and develop strategies for support
• Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, and intellectual disabilities
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals or teaching assistants to provide additional support
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure that students receive the support they need
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field

• Ohio State Intervention Specialist Certification endorsement
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, and intellectual disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a virtual or remote setting

• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Experience working with students who require additional support due to English language proficiency or cultural background
• Strong knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom
