Job Summary

As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Web & Cloud Application Development at blithequark, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers, making key decisions that impact cross-functional partners, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. You'll work closely with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML, while also engaging with external customers. Your role will involve:

• Leading a team of engineers and making key decisions that impact cross-functional partners
• Contributing to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments
• Discussing bugs and technical challenges in-depth and representing your team and technology in cross-functional meetings
• Collaborating with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML
• Engaging with external customers and helping define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects
• Creating a multi-year roadmap, leading the design and execution phases of software development, and overseeing the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of engineers and make key decisions that impact cross-functional partners

• Contribute to architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments
• Discuss bugs and technical challenges in-depth and represent your team and technology in cross-functional meetings
• Collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML
• Engage with external customers and help define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects
• Create a multi-year roadmap, lead the design and execution phases of software development, and oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Essential Qualifications

* Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints

• Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects, managing partnerships while staying hands-on technically
• Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team, fostering collaboration, and supporting your engineers

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of engineering management experience

• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
• Experience with API development and working with API consumers
