About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Director II, Sales to lead our Amazon & Pure Play business. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving profitable growth, strategic business planning, and fostering strong partnerships across Amazon's platform. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of six direct reports and spearhead a large, cross-functional group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of six direct reports across sales, account management, and strategy.
    • Oversee and align efforts of a broader cross-functional team, including marketing, supply chain, finance, and product/pack/price.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for Amazon to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
    • Identify growth opportunities, leveraging insights from data analytics and market trends.
  • Account Management:
    • Serve as the primary senior executive contact for Amazon, driving joint business planning and ensuring alignment on mutual goals.
    • Lead complex negotiations with Amazon on pricing, promotions, and partnership agreements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
    • Foster collaboration across teams to optimize supply chain operations, inventory management, and fulfillment performance.
  • Performance Management and Reporting:
    • Analyze sales performance and key metrics to track progress against goals, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Regularly report on performance to executive leadership, offering actionable insights and recommendations.

What We Offer

As a Senior Director II, Sales at Workwarp, you'll enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Salary: $181,000 - $213,000 per year
  • Annual Incentive: 50% of base salary, dependent on performance
  • Long-term Incentive: 20% of base salary, dependent on performance
  • Benefits: A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience: 11+ years of sales leadership experience, with a focus on e-commerce or consumer goods
  • Amazon Expertise: Strong expertise in Amazon's ecosystem, including Vendor Central, Seller Central, and Amazon Ads, Digital Shelf
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage both direct and cross-functional teams in a complex organizational structure
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; MBA preferred
