About the Program

Our Pharmacy Professional Development Program is a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed as a pharmacy technician. This program is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Department of Labor, and it provides a clear path to becoming a certified pharmacy technician.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Entry-Level Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for: * Assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records * Processing prescriptions and handling cash transactions * Providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers * Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices * Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must: * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent * Be proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico) * Have a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive environment * Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Previous experience in a retail or healthcare setting * Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems * Strong numerical skills and attention to detail * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends * PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification
