Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Support Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos
  • Providing timely and effective support to users, addressing their queries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with platform updates, features, and best practices
  • Maintaining accurate records of user interactions, issues, and resolutions
  • Contributing to the development of knowledge base articles, FAQs, and other support resources
  • Collaborating with the support team to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Participating in bi-annual company retreats and monthly team events to foster a sense of community and teamwork

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a tech or start-up environment
  • A 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or a related field)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in chat support, preferably with intercom or other chat platforms
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations, with a strong desire to help customers succeed
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities, with a strong attention to detail
  • A positive attitude, one-for-all team mentality, and excellent collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Tech or start-up work experience, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges
  • Experience with platform demos, training, and onboarding
